Part of Our Glasgow Open Days Project 2021
Glasgow Door Open Days is an annual festival which opens the doors to some of Glasgow’s historic buildings that are normally closed to the public. However, during the COVID pandemic that was not always possible so we worked with the Glasgow Building Preservation Trust, with grant funding from Historic Environment Scotland and Glasgow Heritage Preservation Trust to immortalise local oral heritage by interviewing various members of the community at various heritage sites around the city to create videos of the heritage that people could view at home while the sites were closed.
